Clothing Alterations and Tailoring in SOMA
Need a hem, a waist taken in, or a zipper replaced before an event? Our SOMA fitting room handles everyday tailoring and more involved reconstruction — overseen by fashion designer Shohre Rahmani, a San Francisco Academy of Art alumna.
What we alter
Walk in during business hours or email to book a fitting. Common work includes:
- Pants regular hem and original-hem restitch
- Waist taken in on trousers, jeans, and skirts
- Dress and jacket zippers
- Sleeve, shoulder, and side-seam adjustments
- Curtains and household hems
Fit issues that were part of the original ticket are corrected at no charge if you return the garment within 60 days.
